The integration of photoconductors into a laser’s optical circuit to establish various optical switching functions leads to a family of lasers for various applications including photo detection in ultra wide band WDM. 

 

In the photonic area, Polarix sensor distribution system using multimode fiber where grating clusters with coupled modes allows the two way distribution of signals to distributed nodes.  This is particularly important in airborne health management systems.

 

In the photonic A to D area, Polarix has conceived a high order N-wave mixing with the unique property of frequency shifting 100GHz optical signal.
